Question 5 Week of February 14, 2011

Are gifted-cluster groups visible in the classroom?

1 comment:

  1. There is definite grouping that occurs in the classroom. Adults who work with the students will notice that assignments may be tiered, where one group may be working on something different than another. For example, when researching a social studies project, a group may be utilizing questions from only the first couple levels of Bloom's Taxonomy, but the gifted cluster group may be researching questions based on levels 5 and 6 of Bloom's Taxonomy. While they may be visible to the adults, we need to be sensitive to the needs of students.
